Marjoram

Marjoram Leaves come from a small perennial bush that is closely related to Oregano.
A fragrant herb ideal with fish, meat and poultry.
Also add to cheese and egg dishes, quiches, frittatas and savoury tarts.
Use with vegetables, sprinkle over salads and fresh or cooked tomatoes.

How to store Marjoram:

Wrap fresh marjoram with a paper towel before refrigerating in a plastic bag and it will last about one week.

Marjoram Bread Sticks

INGREDIENTS:

125g butter
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped marjoram
2 teaspoons chopped chives
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
2 teaspoons mustard
2 small French sticks

Beat butter with cheese, marjoram, parsley, chives and mustard until combined.
Cut French sticks crossways nearly all the way through.
Spread the cut slices with the butter mix.
Wrap the French sticks with foil and bake in a moderate oven for 10 minutes.
